Good Morning

he was the sun peeking behind the clouds, & it was dawn.
the rain had stopped
& the flower had weathered the storm.
fragile pink sheets of silk
with glossy dew drops
casting her gaze away from the sky
& bowing down to her defeat.
And slowly the clouds vanish
& the sky laughs rainbows of orange.
& his rays dance down to the soft cry
Of the ground.
Love me, Love me.
& her shadow warms & stretches
petals as soft as lips,
dew drops shaken off.
she turns her face to meet his.
good morning, my love.
& she blossoms.
